The Courage Coach

I came to coaching through a degree in mathematics and an early career in IT, working for IBM, Procter & Gamble, SG Warburg and Chase Manhattan Bank. I soon realised that my strengths lay in translating between the two worlds of expert developer and expert user. The listening, questioning and communication skills that were critical for this have become the foundation for my coaching career, along with the values of curiosity, respect and positivity. Having designed and delivered training courses for many years, I have a strong understanding of different models, principles and methodologies of leadership and can adapt my coaching style to each client’s needs.

When not coaching, I can be found outdoors; on a SUP, swimming in the river or, most often, on my bike. As an advocate of active travel, I have helped to establish a community cycling charity and have taught many adults and children to cycle.

For 15 years, I have been helping my clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. I provide them with courage and the tools necessary to achieve their goals.
